• Advising in IP matters, including patent strategy, patentability, patent validity, (non-)infringement, freedom-to-operate, and due diligence;• Working in close collaboration with scientists and inventors to prepare patent applications for their inventions, particularly in the fields of life sciences, biotechnology, biochemistry, food & nutrition, and health;• Prosecuting patent applications, reporting and advising applicants. I handle PCT, European and foreign national stage patent applications together with our agents;• Performing oppositions and appeals before the European Patent Office, including oral hearings;• Team up with IP lawyers in patent litigation;• Performing presentations and workshops on IP and Patents in the Life Sciences.
