Inside Solutions Architect - Networking
CurrentThe Network Solutions Architect is part of CDW's Network Solutions Practice, providing our clients with network infrastructure solutions including LAN/WAN Routing and Switching, Datacenter Design, WAN optimization, SD-WAN, Wireless(both internal and external point-to-point bridging), and Application Delivery and Load Balancing. Subject matter expert on solutions from Cisco, Nexus, Meraki, Aruba/HPE, F5 Networks, Juniper, Riverbed, Brocade, Extreme, Arista Networks, Bridgewave, Fatpipe, Citrix and many other Enterprise-level manufacturers. Key Areas of Responsibility •Provide pre-sales engineering and design for network-related opportunities across all geographies. •Provide internal assistance on the Cisco product plans; communicate these plans to other staff. •Make telephone and in-person calls and presentations to clients and potential clients. •Create and deliver polished proposals and client deliverables. •Coordinate hardware and software quotations with respective Sales Teams. •Provide timely and accurate work estimates for clients. •Provide management oral and written reports on the client needs, problems, interests, market situations, competitive activities, and potential for new products/services. •Be knowledgeable about products, applications, technical service, market conditions, competitive activities, advertising, and promotional trends through the reading of pertinent literature and consulting with marketing and technical services. •Provide feedback to Product & Partner Management groups concerning trends and opportunities •Work with Public Relations as a subject matter expert
