Mark has been helping companies create great insights and then execute on them for the past 20 years. He works with executives and entrepreneurs to get clear on how they can lead change through their people, so they can grow and win. He started his career doing oil & gas venture deals before becoming obsessed with the way cultures of learning help corporations thrive while invigorating the humans in their organizations. He joined Root Learning, a boutique consultancy, and for 15 years helped steer global companies on how to engage their people through strategy to achieve winning results. Mark has been based in the US, the UK and Sweden. Mark now runs the Fund business for Talentism. He works with investment funds and their portfolio companies to fight through the confusion of their inherently complex worlds so they can unleash their potential. His professional responsibilities have included accountability for the sales and delivery of multi-million dollar projects around the world. He has demonstrated expertise working across industries including energy, financial service, consumer products and pharmaceuticals. In addition, he enjoys advising and investing in start-ups who are trying to make the world a better and more fun place to live! Mark earned a degree in economics from the Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania. He now lives in Boston with his wife and three children. Having worked in more than 30 countries and traveled to many more, everything he does includes a global perspective layered on top of his traditional midwestern American upbringing. His compulsions include solving difficult business problems and being helpful.
