Mr. Vasquez has extensive portfolio management experience and has worked in a variety of institutional settings: trading long/short equity portfolios, advising asset managers, developing investment strategies for proprietary trading desks, and analyzing private equity deals.Prior to his role as a Portfolio Manager for Red Spruce Capital, Mr. Vasquez was an Equity Research Analyst for Gardner Lewis Asset Management. He conducted fundamental research and due diligence on a wide variety of investments for clients’ portfolios.Previously, Mr. Vasquez was a Portfolio Manager for Susquehanna International Group (SIG) and managed a long/short equity fund focused on global technology and telecommunications companies. He also conducted primary research on publicly traded companies in a variety of industries (pharmaceuticals, biotechnology, regulated utilities, internet, software, and hardware technologies) and advised SIG's Proprietary Trading Group on various trading and hedging strategies.Mr. Vasquez began his career as a Consultant with Arch & Beam Global. As a full-time billable consultant, he managed global programs in advance of mergers and acquisitions such as Hewlett-Packard’s acquisition of Compaq Computer Company and divestiture of Agilent Technologies.Mr. Vasquez received a B.S. in Operations Research & Industrial Engineering from Cornell University.
