Perform administrative and office support activities for multiple supervisors. Fielding telephone calls, receiving and directing visitors, word processing, filing, and faxing. Oversee, coordinate, and perform activities associated with shipping, receiving, distribution, and transportation.Consult with supervisor and other personnel to resolve problems, such as equipment performance, output quality, and work schedules.Train employees in work and safety procedures and company policies.Compile reports and information required by management.Maintain records of such matters as inventory, personnel, orders, supplies, and machine maintenance.Review records and reports pertaining to production, operation, pay roll, customer accounts, and shipping.

This role involved a generalist approach to the HR function including projects in the following areas: Counsel/Support to Management, Policy Administration, Pay Delivery Systems, Rewards/Recognition Systems, Benefits Administration, Employee Development, Performance Enhancement, Incident Investigation/Discipline Meeting Facilitation, and Special Projects. Coordination of employee hiring and orientation programs, participation in benefits administration and communication activities.
