Design Activities: Responsible for design and development of antenna control solution switch products in SOI from concept through layout and release to production. Design of laminate based switch module products.Design of Fan Out Wafer level package in conjunction with the packaging development group.Designed GaAs based switches with logic from 1 to 2 for SPDT, up to a 3 to 8 decoder for SP8T. Designed into multiple smart phone manufacturers.SOI DPDT for RX chain filter switching designed into multiple smart phone applications including HTC and RIMProduct support activities: Assist other engineers in completion of production release of antenna control switches and antenna tuner products after initial prototype. Assist in completion of specification compliance and design reviews. Coordinate with DE,PE, and PQE to validate product readiness, complete assembly drawings and documentation for mass production release.Quick turn derivative product release: Make mask layout changes and new laminate design releases to create derivative from production released parts on shorter lead times than a full new product release. Includes layout changes to improve functionality/yield, truth table changes to meet a customer specific requirement, or new laminate module to match a different IO orientation.
