Performed a variety of direct and support work for PSoC Creator, an IDE for concurrent hardware and firmware editing for programmable chips. -Designed and implemented several parts of the GUI for schematic editing. -Identified and fixed a number of issues related to OS compatibility. -Designed and implemented a system for gathering program usage data over the internet. -Performed memory leak analysis, finding and fixing numerous memory leaks and spikes. -Rewrote the digital mapping and configuration code generation systems to support new types of programmable chips. -Designed and built a physical test setup for running functional regression tests on a customer design that used Cypress' programmable chips. -Supported and expanded an automated system for smoke testing designs. -Visited customers to gather feedback for later software releases. -Setup a system for measuring and reporting code coverage information to developers. -Redesigned the MSI packaging system to use WiX, and wrote a utility program that enabled simplified management of MSI contents. -Rewrote the build and release packaging system to be easier to use, maintain, debug, and expand.
