Construction Project Manager
CurrentExperience in project management within the construction industry, specializing in delivering high-quality projects from inception to completion. Developing comprehensive project plans, managing pre-construction activities, and ensuring all project phases are coordinated effectively and completed on schedule and within budget.Experience:Project Planning & Coordination: Develop project plans in coordination with the owner, including cost plan preparation and project scheduling. Expertise in estimate development, value engineering, and identifying cost-saving opportunities.Tendering & Construction Phases: Oversee all aspects of tendering and construction phases, ensuring projects meet specifications and budget requirements. Stakeholder Collaboration: Plan, facilitate, and incorporate actions from strategy sessions, project start-up meetings, engineering reviews, and constructability reviews. Build and enhance relationships with clients, consultants, suppliers, and trades.Estimating & Cost Planning: Assist the estimating team in preparing project estimates or cost plans that incorporate value for the owner and meet the consultant’s design intent and targeted profitability. Plan resources to maximize safety, quality, and profitability.Subcontract Management: Select trades for tendering, oversee the tendering and awarding of sub-trade contracts, and manage subcontract agreements. Ensure accurate and timely project administration including pricing change orders and tracking requests for information.Project Budgeting & Tracking Prepare and manage project budgets, track progress, variances, and recovery. Identify trends mitigate potential cost overruns, and provide accurate revenue forecasts.Issue Resolution & Adaptability Proactively identify, address, and resolve issues as they arise. React positively to changes, ensuring project health safety and environmental standards meet or exceed requirements
