I am an experienced leader in economic development and cities policy both in the UK and internationally. I have worked as a senior strategy adviser and thought leader for the UK Prime Minister and Deputy Prime Minister, and for all three Mayors of London, as well as with European and international organisations, major companies in the private sector and for non-governmental organisations. I am the author of four books and more than 100 papers.I actively participate in debates about the future of cities including London, Cambridge and Toronto. I also volunteer at the Brunel Museum in Rotherhithe, London, and the Centre for Computing History in Cambridge.
