Directed three managers with downline authority for 40 professionals working out of two data centers and two corporate offices. Ensured compliance with regulatory requirements including HIPAA and SOX while playing a key role in attaining and maintaining clearinghouse certifications (EHNAC). Responsibly managed an eight-figure budget.• Built the IT organization from the ground up, designed and implemented the infrastructure and its business continuity plan, and consistently kept uptime at 99.5% or better. Grew transactional volume 2000% with no addition to core IT staff. • Took the lead in driving change that drove continuing improvement in SDLC processes as well as phone and data systems upgrade. Designed and implemented Business Continuity Plan that provided a full transfer of functionality from production facility to back-up facility in less than six hours. • Spearheaded numerous hosting vendor conversions that supported the company’s rapid growth. Authored RFPs and negotiated multisite managed services and hosting contracts as large as $10M.
