We are changing how families experience gearing up for college. Why? Because as soon as we started talking about success in college, we learned the road to college is lined with a serious lack of clear, transparent, and cohesive information. The journey is fragmented.That's why we built My College Navigation Hub. To help families and their students have a clearer understanding of how to navigate the road TO college. We built a web platform that brings together the essential components to navigate that path - all in one place - in a clear and unbiased manner. We combine education with information. We provide both personal advising and career + degree matching. We've worked to create a space for everyday people to discover the path to College that is right for them.

Turned entrepreneurial vision into reality through the formation of this newly established business. Galvanized the momentum of nonprofit organizations to conceptualize and implement a for-profit corporation, building on the success of shared services as a management model that allows smaller organizations to have the breadth and impact of a larger organization that would otherwise be much further from reach. Managed concept development and staff build-out with real time implementation of this synergistic staffing/sourcing model through shared solutions for financial management, member management, marketing and communications, education development, program and event planning, Board training and development, and much more. This business can be characterized as exhibiting a very fast paced evolution requiring the ability to form new strategic direction and implement creative solutions to challenges.- Founded and built this business from the ground up, growing it from two founding owner/clients to a roster of 18 client organizations.- Recruited, trained, and developed staff, growing from concept to a team of 22 full time professionals.- Successfully negotiated the acquisition and managed the integration a second geographic location in another state thus expanding reach into many new markets including medical, projectmanagement, meetings, and insurance.- Re-engineered business process and redesigned strategic plan for the acquired entity as it had been in a losing position within the marketplace.- Built professional relationships and networks that opened doors of opportunity for new product and service deliverables for both Synergos and its clients.- Successfully negotiated contracts including client contracts, realestate, purchasing, as well as hotel and travel.- Maintained simultaneous CEO position for Synergos and as Executive Director/CEO for it's two client/owners.

Served in this chief management roll as part of the bigger picture of the Synergos, AMC build out and came to AFA as they were desperately struggling for relevance, financial viability, as well asmember growth and retention. Led significant organizational rebirth in all areas above.- Mobilized revenue growth from a three year deficit situation to one of substantial financial profit and stability. This growth primarily came through significant growth in membership and earningsthrough subsequent increased service revenue.- Led the organization through a strategic planning process and into the successful implementation of that plan.- Became the voice and face of the organization advocating and representing their vision and mission expanding their reach and presence within national media (ex: NY Times, Wall Street Journal, Washington Post, Chronicle of Higher Education, USA Today, etc.) as well as providing representation on Capital Hill and in meetings at the White House.- Established and managed partnerships with various other industry organizations thus expanding both service and scope for members.- Successfully negotiated challenging contracts for future meetings/conventions for several years out to achieve leveraged cost savings.

Built a highly successful organization that ultimately became a co-owner and the financial foundation of Synergos, AMC. Managed and led the organization as it became a powerhouse within the industry,doubling membership and tripling financial outcomes. Expanded service offerings and improved relevance for clients/customers. Led an organization that had a good track record and turned it into one of cutting edge excellence.- Identified an entrepreneurial opportunity and led the merger of two smaller organizations to create this new super-organization. Started in 2007 as a full-time staff of one in a basement to owningproperty and having a team of staff - to what would eventually become Synergos, AMC.- Provided the vision and leadership to provide significant expansion of service offerings, products, opportunity, and outcomes.- Tripled financial earnings and created a substantial reserve that allowed for investment and new growth avenues.- Managed volunteers and staff creating a team of dedicated individuals who stood behind our mission and worked collaboratively for success.

Provide Guidance & Support to a community of approximately 40 fraternity/sorority chapters and 2500 students. Developed & oversaw staffing model for chapter, council, and housing support that included as many as 14 staff members. Taught both an undergraduate leadership course and a graduate level course on advising techniques. Prepared long range planning including a strategic plan. Provided Budget Management, development of policies & procedures and created Alumni support mechanisms. Acted as liaison and official communication vehicle with all inter/national organizations represented within the community.

Primary responsibility for advising student organizations and managingstudent engagement opportunities.

Management of the "student union" on campus including the information desk, the game room, and student organization advising responsibilities.
