Within SICK Netherlands I was the responsible Product Manager for solutions and products for Auto-ID, Vision, Distance measurement and ranging systems.My main responsibilities as Product Manager:Product Marketing-new product introductions-selecting where and how to promote the different product groups-creating articles, using available information within SICK AG-attending relevant fairs and events-determining which product groups will be shown at which eventsSales support -customer visits regarding specific topics -specific customer product requests -introduction and explanation of new products Contact with the SICK AG headoffice -updating the headoffice with specific trajectories in NL -communicating about possibilities for specific customer requests -market feedback about the Dutch market -new product information for introduction of these productsMaking the annual forecast for the product groupsClose communication with application engineers -about specific technical cases at customers -for joint support at customers

HIG Traffic Systems has three main activities :-products and systems for traffic monitoring and traffic registration;-products and systems for tunnel safety-public lightingFor all three activities HIG Traffic Systems is active in sales, installation and maintenance. In public lighting we are reseller, in the other two activities we also develop products and systems next to reselling. My responsibility on one hand is to make sure together with sales we have the right product propositions (product management) and select the right suppliers for that.
