I am an experienced business manager, supervisor, and project manager. I have a master's degree in mechanical engineering, specializing in smart systems / intelligent production automation.Currently, I work as the Managing Director of Kaptas Oy, an expert company in the automation industry that belongs to the international Addtech Group. Kaptas builds unique automation equipment and machines, e.g. for the pharmaceutical and diagnostics industry. My areas of responsibility are e.g., sales, financial management, communication with customers, stakeholder cooperation, and company development.My career at Kaptas started in 2020, when I began managing the Kaptas business unit in Turku. My areas of responsibility as Unit Manager were e.g. the unit's sales and marketing, HR functions, partial financial management, project management, and daily operational management.Before my career at Kaptas, I worked as a chief designer and project manager in the technology company AQ Trafotek Oy's various projects (production development, factory construction, production machines) in Europe, Asia, and South America, and I was the supervisor of the development and maintenance team for almost 20 years.While working at Trafotek, I was responsible for all the company's factory design, construction, and development projects in Finland and abroad. My area of responsibility included planning new factories (offices and production), procuring all production machines, stakeholder cooperation, and supervising installation work. I was also responsible for all factory expansion projects. My areas of expertise are project management, project planning (especially budgeting and scheduling), production line design and automation, internal logistics development at the factory, 3D modeling, and machine safety. My newest area of expertise is intelligent production automation, especially using machine vision and artificial intelligence-based technologies in production automation. I am particularly interested in developing production technologies and utilizing new innovations, thereby improving the company's profitability.
