My tasks as a Financial Analyst included among others:• The upkeep and development of a large & detailed financial forecast Excel file. This included also gathering information by inquiry and interview from the technical experts.• Coordinating the financial side for the change order & technical value engineering processes in a ship project.• Representing the Turku Site Office finance side in meetings and reporting.• Producing and presenting various financial updates, and working as the link between Turku Site Office and Miami HQ finance.• Active participation in the creation and development of financial process, e.g. establishing weekly and bi-weekly working routines and follow-ups, being part of the risk working group, co-working with the yard to improve mutual reporting etc. I’m leaving the company on good terms and referrals. The scope of the intense position was widened so I decided the time had come for me to find a position where I can achieve a better work-life balance. My goal is to find a position where I can utilize my wide perspective of different companies, financial planning, and various leadership methods in order to grow towards a managerial role.
