Leads the Topeka plant HR Team in the areas of staffing,labor relations, training and organizational development. Plans, organizes and effectively executes plant's initiatives in employee engagement, succession-career planning, performance management, and the plant's collective bargaining agreement. Topeka plant employs 1,500 associates.

Effectively lead a team of three human resource professionals in providing tactical, and strategic human resource and labor relations support. Responsible for master and local contract administration, (USW, SEIU ) grievance process including arbitration, and employee complaint investigation and resolution.

*Successfully managed change in this 500 employee supply chain operation including merger/acquistion, SAP roll out, down-sizing, build up, lean manufacturing, five Plant Directors in ten years.*Developed and administered Diversity program and Affirmative Action plans resulting in significant improvements in all underutilized areas.*Developed training program, orientation, and on-boarding process for all new hires (over 200 in six years).*Improved relationship between Union (RWDSU) and Management resulting in a 50% reduction of grievances, and employee investigations.

*Designed and implemented divisional Succession Planning Process.*Facilitated Team Development Committee resulting in improved team development among semi self directed work teams.*Assisted in the plant selection site, and management staffing of Reynosa Mexico site.*Assisted with the sale and closure of Champ Services, Wire Cable/Distribution operations in Bradenton Fl. and Dallas TX.* Provided employee complaint investigation and resolution for 500+ employees in up to four remote locations.*Negotiated and administered union contract (UAW).

Supported a variety of clients ranging from manufacturing, quality operations, quality laboratories, engineering, and logistics.Member of manufacturing self directed team design team.Assisted in the design and delivery of Team Member and Team Management training.Facilitated a number of work redeign efforts.
