I help Retail, Logistics, FMCG and Hospitality businesses step change their performance through effective decision support, robust performance management and partnering deeply into HR, Operations, Sales and Procurement. I do this through board level influencing and strategic planning, but also through building fantastic and empowered finance departments, who utilise the latest tools and analytical techniques, who are data driven, savvy and well trained, who recognise and celebrate successes, but who are also brave at calling out low grade decision making or control.Finance transformation is at the heart of what I do, and these results are achievable in all businesses, with the right approaches, focus and commitment to change. Some like to do this through consultancy, but I prefer to do this as either the Financial Director (FD) or Chief Operating Officer (CFO).I have been through and led multiple finance transformations in my career to-date and have a strong track record in delivery. Its worth noting that whilst I am a highly commercial Finance professional, I do also have a strong controllership base, with a focus on internal controls, risk management and audit. I have a passion for embracing new techniques and tech, but also love to coach and mentor colleagues and executives across industry, to support their own personal growth and career aspirations. Please reach out to me if you want to chat through any of these areas. I love to build my understanding of the industries I love, work on my technical development but also share what I have learnt to-date with others...
