Since its inception in 2011, Leese & Associates has provided urban design, planning, and architectural design services for the Arapahoe-Yosemite Redevelopment Plan, Severance Corridor Plans, Evans US85 Gateway Plan, Northglenn/112th Ave TOD plan, Eastlake TOD Plan, 88th Ave TOD Plan, 104th Ave TOD Plan, Central Rail Extension Study, Welton Street Streetcar Study, East Colfax Transit Priority Study, West Colfax Wayfinding and Mobility Enhancement Project, and feasibility studies and design services for numerous housing and hotel development/redevelopment projects across the country.

Represented the Manager of Public Works in negotiations and coordination with the Planning Department, Parks and Recreation departments, City Council, Xcel Energy, the Mayor’s Office of Art, Culture and Film, the Transportation Coordination Group; co-director of ADA Compliance for Denver; responsible for all phases of design and construction, including RFP preparation, consultant selection, cost estimating, scheduling, and on-site construction observation and negotiations. Oversaw design and construction of over $30,000,000 in capital improvement projects funded by the 1989 G.O. Bond Issue, including California Street, Curtis Street, 16th Street Mall Extension, Old South Gaylord, Kearney Street – 35 projects in all. Other projects include:• Directed the design and construction of the streetscape improvements in the vicinity of Coors Field, co-authored maintenance agreement. • Managed the process of developing Denver’s requirements for all access improvements for Invesco Field.• Participated as a member of the Renaissance Project team whose task was to redesign and automate Denver’s development review and permitting processes.
