Floating is a unique approach to stress relief that Malou and I discovered while in London in the summer of 2007. While visiting Floatworks, we learned that floating has been used by NASA and has been studied by over 10 Universities around the world. During the 2000 Olympics there were 200 tanks in use by the athletes. Floating is just as it sounds...in a private room you lie down in a body of water the same density as the Dead Sea and float. The water and air are skin temp so after a very short while you lose the sensation of where the air and water meet. You have to experience it firsthand to understand the depths of relaxation one can achieve in such a short period of time.
