Before taking over and marketing XGD Systems, I was a project manager at our parent company, TDIGolf. While at TDI, I spent significant time developing our XGD Systems process for greens restoration. Over the course of 12 years I grew installation crews from 1-6 crews, effectively increasing sales and profit margin by the same ratio. I introduced various other services to complement our core drainage services, in order to fill in schedule gaps and keep our great people interested and committed to XGD for the long term.
I had the opportunity to project manage new 18 hole constructions during the era of new course construction in the 1990's. Also, worked on several high end clubs performing golf club restorations. Developed and installed our initial TDI greens drainage process in Ontario, before taking the process international as XGD Systems.

I supervised and participated in the installation of our own irrigation system and subsequent activities required in a successful turfgrass grow-in. Also, designed/installed our own subsurface drainage system enhancements required to keep opening date deadline. Seeded, grew-in entire new golf club acreage on highly sensitive environmental terrain susceptible to large earth washouts. These were virtually eliminated through our various drainage system upgrades performed on site by golf maintenance staff.
Managed day to day operations of this high end facility. Communicated daily tasks to all staff and followed up on task completion to ensure our high standards were achieved.
