-Lead and support 135 driver service providers-Use Balanced Scorecard and Quality Improvement Process to monitor employee performance-Manage Key Performance Indicators to increase revenue-Utilize technology (Orion, PAS, Telematics) to identify opportunities for performance improvement and risk mitigation-Review and analyze work processes and work schedule information to identify opportunities to reduce costs and improve performance-Hold others accountable to establish performance levels to achieve individual and group goals

-Lead and support nearly 135 UPS Delivery Drivers (30 direct reports)-Uses the Balanced Scorecard and Quality Improvement Process to complete audits during on-job supervision rides to monitor workgroup performance against business goals, ensure adherence to UPS policies and procedures, maintain compliance with environmental, health and safety requirements, maximize day to day proficiency, and ensure packages are delivered in a timely and professional manner-Coaches others and provides on-going feedback and support to improve performance and provide development opportunities-Holds others accountable to established performance levels to achieve individual and group goals-Utilizes technology (Orion, PAS, Telematics, etc.) to identify opportunities for performance improvement and risk mitigation-Completes accident reports, service failure tracking, and training in a timely and accurate manner-Uncovers business opportunities and forwards this information to the proper department (i.e., dispatch supervisor, center management, and business development) for follow up-Participates in the development and implementation of work process plans to maximize center proficiency and achieve business results-Reviews and analyzes work processes and work schedule information (e.g., exception reports, volume delivered/hour, miles driven, car set up, hours worked, accidents, etc.) to identify opportunities to reduce costs and improve performance

-Responsible for delivering packages to customers in a timely and professional manner with the following skills: physical strength, customer service orientation, the ability to work long hours, high attention to details, fast response to unexpected situations, and communication.-Observe strict adherence to company policies (safety, security, uniform, package handling)-Attend monthly safety meetings to ensure proper safety methods and measures are in place

-Use “hand-to-surface” methods when handling packages-Scan, read, and label packages to determine correct grouping-Move packages into the delivery area and loads them onto conveyor belts, trucks, or pallets-Observe strict adherence to company policies (safety, security, uniform, package handling)-Maintain a clean working area-Identify errors in package information, defects, and any discrepancies-Collaborate with other warehouse personnel to ensure work efficiency

-Responsible for maintaining inventory counts and quality control procedures for incoming shipments. Duties include unloading delivery trucks and checking incoming shipments against product invoices, organizing and storing shipments until they receive outgoing order requests and notifying management personnel when they don’t have enough of a particular product to fulfill orders.-Forklift operator certified-Covered duties and responsibilities for receiving manager when out of the office

-Monitor public areas for unusual activity and potential threats.-Monitor security systems like alarms and closed-circuit cameras.-Identify potential thieves from customers or staff.-Follow and confront a potential person of interest who is suspected of shoplifting.-Document theft and other violations of security, and what they observed on duty.-Work with law enforcement to detain suspects of shoplifting or dishonest employees.-Protect people, money, equipment, and merchandise.-Worked undercover and worked with other undercover store detectives to prevent theft.
