Under the guidance of the Senior Learning Technologist, my role was to assist and support stakeholders with the design and development of learning materials and the choice and application of relevant learning technologies, to support learning, teaching and assessment. Through my activities I contributed to a positive student experience, supporting students throughout their journey, from enquiry to alumni, providing a culture that engages students as genuine partners with University of Plymouth.- I contributed to the development of digitally literate students and staff, including planning, delivery and evaluating of a programme of information and research skills development opportunities. - I was involved in the design and development of learning materials from given subject resources to specified project outlines, updating and modifying to maintain the integrity of learning resources. - I provided advice and support to individual staff on the design, development and evaluation of learning materials to deliver on the commitment to continuous development.- I assisted in the design, specification, evaluation and management of projects and the dissemination to customers, partners and stakeholders to support the successful delivery of the service.- I interfaced with customers, partners and stakeholders to provide advice and guidance, responding to enquiries and requests in an effective and timely manner to ensure customer expectations were managed.- I networked with colleagues to share best practice to promote the Academic Support, Technology and Innovation service, building relationships and a positive image of the service.- I made task related decisions and guidance within designated activities and associated policies and procedures to enable the successful delivery and development of the service.- I planned and prioritised designated activities, co-ordinated or allocated tasks within the team to meet the changing needs of the service.

I researched, designed and developed bespoke Reusable Learning Objects (RLOs) for undergraduate medical students. In collaboration with content experts it was my responsibility to produce and deliver online interactive materials that would cover a vast range of medical topics.
