From an intimate dinner for 2 to a dinner party of 10 or a buffet for 25, Recreational Chef Mark will provide a customized menu that will make it special. Responsible for managing and directing the day to day operations of the Library, creating a budget with the Fiscal Officer, planning and executing programs, selecting books and materials for the collection, overseeing and developing the Library’s circulation, monitoring and caring for the physical structures and equipment, selecting and managing the employees of the Library, developing plans for the current and future needs of the Library and proposing and implementing strategies for realizing such plans, serving in organizations to develop an awareness, understanding, and support of the Library in the community, speaking engagements and public relations efforts on behalf of the Library, and securing and developing adequate sources of revenue for the operational and capital needs of the Library.

Responsible for providing library services directly to the public, providing reports for the Library Director and Library Board of Trustees, purchasing library materials, selecting and hiring staff and supervising a staff of 6 professional librarians and 3 support staff.
