About Mark Macfarlane, Esq.

Mark E. MacFarlane, Esq. started his career working in construction to help get himself through school and eventually became an attorney but, has always maintained a blue collar work ethic. During the housing crisis, Mark started a real estate fund, MacFarlane High Income Real Estate. Focusing on bank-owned multi-family apartment buildings, Mark created affordable housing for homeless with capital from a hedge fund capital partner. Mark knew that for the amount of work he had done to rehab buildings, fill vacancies, and the capital risk involved, the fund was giving away too much in the form of commissions. He realized that agents were taking 6% of the building on the way in and 6% on the way out. There were no other options for transacting real estate. And that was the birth of Vimvi.
