Originally employed by Yamanouchi Consumer Inc, parent company to Bear Creek, to provide business intelligence strategy, planning and implementation for multiple YCI companies including Harry & David, Shaklee and Jackson & Perkins. After the spinoff of Harry & David I took a position to design and construct a corporate data warehouse. Responsible for work from business requirements and planning the corporate BI program to managing the development and support teams. Oversaw the standardization of BI tools, and introduction of data integration, text mining and predictive analysis technologies.

The usual run of tasks you'd expect of a CIO. Overhauled an aging operation, developed a technology infrastructure plan, and grew the technical teams necessary for new projects supporting our business plans. Aside from operational duties, I also filled the role of CTO, developing the technology and infrastructure for several business expansion efforts including bringing the data syndication services from physical delivery to online access.
