Career SummaryAs an Environmental Scientist, I have participated in many facets of environmental engineering and consulting and continue to grow and branch out within the consulting business .I have participated in numerous projects on commercial and governmental field sites that have both radiological and chemical contamination concerns in state and federal programs in Rhode Island, Vermont, New York, New Jersey, and Massachusetts under the Massachusetts Contingency Plan (MCP) .My experience includes various field investigations on Superfund sites, Industrial/commercial, railroad yards, former MGP sites (manufactured gas plant) ,construction oversight, and emergency response spills.Accomplished in all aspects of field investigations, I am proficient in the assessment of various media, such as soil, air, groundwater (low flow & passive), pore water, surface water, soil vapor, and sediment, and has extensive experience in low flow groundwater in accordance with regional EPA guidelines. I am knowledgeable utilizing various drilling techniques, including sonic drilling; air hammer, hollow-stem auger, and direct push to characterize soil and groundwater samples in overburden and bedrock. I have experience in Massachusetts, New York, and Rhode Island with vapor intrusion mitigation measures including collection of indoor air, sub-slab, soil gas samples and oversight of Installation of Sub-Slab Soil Vapor (SSV) Mitigation remediation systems In addition; I have overseen the use of other investigative techniques evaluation and interpretation of field data, and report preparation under the Massachusetts Contingency Plan.
