Chief Financial Officer
Current•Managing all financial and operational aspects of the company, while focusing on the financial vision, global strategy, and leadership, performing all tasks necessary to achieve the organization's mission.•Helping execute staff succession and growth plans, including training the Finance Unit of 5 or other staff, raising awareness and knowledge of financial management matters.•Overseeing insurance coverage analysis, investigating cost-effective benefit plans and other fringe benefits which the organization may offer employees and potential employees with the goal of attracting or retaining qualified individuals.•Working with the CEO on the strategic vision, including fostering and cultivating stakeholder relationships on city, state, and national levels, as well as assisting in the development/negotiation of contracts.•Participating in developing new business, specifically assisting the CEO and CTO in identifying new funding opportunities, the drafting of prospective programmatic budgets, and determining the cost effectiveness of prospective service delivery.•Assessing the benefits of all prospective contracts and advising the Executive Team on programmatic design and implementation matters.•Ensuring adequate controls are installed and that substantiating documentation is approved and available, so that all purchases may pass independent or governmental audits.•Providing the CEO with an operating budget, collaborating with them to ensure programmatic success through cost analysis support and compliance with all contractual and programmatic requirements.•Interpreting legislative or programmatic rules and regulations to ensure compliance with all federal, state, local, and contractual guidelines, ensuring that all government requirements are disseminated to appropriatepersonnel, as well as monitoring compliance.•Overseeing the management and coordination of all fiscal reporting activities for the organization.
