Targeting opportunities with contractors and end clients across all civil engineering sectors for Tony Gee and Partners.As a Civil Engineer, my background is in site management spanning an array of sectors and procurement routes. In 2007, after four years working in the tendering department at BAM Nuttall, I moved into Business Development.I work with engineering, procurement and project managers during the very early stages of projects to assist in identifying appropriate procurement routes and project deliverables. I also align customers with “the right team” to facilitate the development of schemes, under Early Contractor Involvement (ECI) or Pre-Construction Service Agreements (PCSAs).I also support company communications and brand placement through the use of social media across different platforms.Please also get in touch if you need the skills that Tony Gee and Partners have to offer in any early works support to drive value in to your project and ensure you set off with the right solution in mind. Make a difference to project success by getting a handle on the most buildable solution with a realistic programme and budget.Recent focus when at BAM: Innovation and Advisory services have been at the forefront of engagement for me recently to broaden the company portfolio and improve bottom line margin whilst reducing risk in the process. This has aligned with my personal interest in doing new and better things and identify future market changes. Specifics of this have included introducing sustainable asphalt (low temperature) and 3D printed concrete (#3DCP), the key benefits of these have been the very broad. Key target benefits have been aligned with digital delivery, enhanced programme certainty, whole life cost benefits, reduced carbon. All of these are obviously under the banner of sustainable delivery which meets criteria for all key clients in the UK. Additionally I was the chair for the Civil Engineering Contractors Association (CECA) Transport committee s autumn 2018 - 2020.
