CurrentInitially focused on efficient running of a Global Network infrastructure which includes troubleshooting and monitoring on a daily basis for offices in the US, UK and China. This involves normal server maintenance as well as monitoring of the routers, switches, Cisco FirePower, Barracuda spam filters and also our corporate VPN using Cisco AnyConnect. As a result of the pandemic, I was responsible for quickly changing our VoIP and call center from on-prem to remote operation. It also involved setting up new security protocols like MFA for all users and making sure that VPN was working for over 300 employees. At the same time we changed our device protection to start using Microsoft Endpoint Manager (Intune). As soon as that was implemented, we changed our Cisco VPN to a more secure version. Training new users (NEO) in network operation and secure computing is also part of what I do.
