An enterprise software leader with a track record of building, transforming and leading over-performing teams in both early-stage and established global technology companies. Over the course of my almost 30 year career I have led Sales, Customer, Marketing and Alliances teams in EMEA and North America, as well as globally. I have served on the Board of a Public (FTSE) company; I have been an Executive team member of a major SAP market unit; and I have enjoyed roles on several other global and regional sales leadership teams too. Most recently I have focused on M&A, spearheading the integration of acquired businesses to prioritize the cross-sell and synergy opportunities.My experience has included co-founding and building angel and VC-funded startups as well as driving significant regional/global/vertical quotas for large multi-national software companies. Additionally, through my work as an operating partner in a tech-focused private equity firm, I have supported a number of major GTM transformations and played coach/mentor/friend to CROs and growth-focused CEOs. Most notably, this included architecting the successful turnaround of a 150-person global GTM team, serving as interim CRO while refocusing and up-skilling the team and hiring a new global leadership team. My most enjoyable roles have involved growing revenue by building strong teams - hiring, nurturing and mentoring to get the very best out of the people I support. I draw energy from being part of a close, fun team, focused on value creation and winning. I am at my most creative when launching new products, or into new markets, or when helping David beat Goliath.
