Assumed full management responsibility for $21M pavement preservation and recycling company including strategic planning, budgeting, equipment purchasing, market expansion planning, and capital expansion planning. Oversaw integration with corporately-owned businesses, reporting and relations with corporate boards and committees. Managed estimating, bidding, and construction of production crews with capabilities in micro-surfacing, slurry seal, chip seal, cold central plan recycling, pug mill cold-mix production, asphalt transportation, and equipment maintenance operation. Formed and maintained strategic relationships with internal laboratory to test and develop new products and construction techniques. Developed the company from a 2-person office to a fully functioning small business.

Developed the Pavement Preservation and Recycling Alliance web presence through active leadership in the 3 trade associations of the pavement preservation industry, Asphalt Emulsions Manufacturing Association, International Slurry Systems Association, and Asphalt Recycling and Reclaiming Association. Integrated website traffic, social media engagement and webinar technical training. Facilitated the launch of 2 Illinois-based micro-surfacing crews with separate companies and added micro-surfacing emulsion production at one emulsion plant. Developed legal joint venture contracts to launch the operations and assist with state prequalification.

Managed $25M St. Louis division of Missouri Petroleum including strategic planning, budgeting, equipment purchasing, capital expansion planning, and asphalt supply. supervised 8 crews including Novachip, Petromat, Pavement Underseal, Custom Distributor work, Asphalt Transportation, and equipment maintenance operation. Oversaw material sales group including emulsion plant, driveway sealer production, cutback production, geotextiles, erosion control, calcium chloride sales, and testing laboratory. Expanded product and construction lines of business. Developed and implemented 9 new emulsion technologies, 4 driveway sealers, and 2 new construction maintenance processes.
