I love helping others grow and become better people and leaders. My upbringing and military career shaped my leadership style and the person I am today. The foundation is rooted in strong family and Midwestern values. I excelled as a three-sport athlete and state champion which led to a Division I football scholarship. West Point opened the door to unlimited opportunities and challenged me to think strategically and develop analytical and decision-making skills. As a Master Army Aviator, I led large formations of Soldiers in challenging and complex environments. It reinforced my belief that people are our most precious resource. It taught me the technical skills required for managing resources and risk. It was there and in the aerospace private sector that I honed my ability to deal with the adversity of high stakes situations. Whether leading an international disaster relief operation or negotiating a multi-million-dollar contract, I’ve successfully handled crisis situations calmly and with compassion. I value and invest in personal and professional growth. I have grown as a teacher at the Naval War College, West Point and as a student attaining my executive coaching certificate. I am dedicated to positively impacting the world one leader and one team at a time. I do that by facilitating private peer advisory groups of high-performing executives and as a growth consultant for small and mid market companies. I provide one-to-one coaching to help leaders get more clarity around their challenges and opportunities.I place great emphasis on mental and physical wellness – essential to readiness and staying sharp. I love spending time with my family, running, mountain biking, hiking, and the challenges of golf.
