I work for IPTel Solutions and as a company we specialise in wireless networking - we've undertaken numerous very large and complex wireless LAN installations.In recent years I have worked across a number of different health departments on wireless and other network designs and architectures. The clinical space is a highly demanding environment, and so many of the designs are built to be highly reliable and resilient, but also include (sometimes) complex integrations such as biomedical - either wireless or fixed. During my time at Queensland Health I worked on large array of projects and technologies.High points have included authoring IP Telephony and wireless architectures. I have worked on the wireless architectures, high level designs, build guides and installations.The QH wireless designs have included a number of services, including data, wifi voice, eduroam guest access, wireless video and notably wireless biomedical.I have spent time working through all levels of networking, from architectures, build guides, high level designs and site specific designs. I have delivered a number of firsts in my time at QH, including working on the first Vocera wireless voice rollout, the first integrated wireless biomedical rollout and the first successful configuration and test of the eduoroam student guest access.

Design, install and operate a statewide Operational network to communicate with fixed and mobile substations, remote connection and control of transmission switchgear and network managment.This network has integrated various access technologies, including fixed WAN links, ISDN dial, NextG, Telstra IP Services (in particular the Telstra GWIP offering) and satellite access for polling of SCADA type devices. I also provide detailled documentation and have knowledge of other technologies such as DNS and network monitoring and mangement applications.
