Working at Tremb gave me a broad background in operations, business development, product marketing and sales in a niche target market. My primary role is to oversee the direct sales/marketing in Western Canada and business development in international markets. I was responsible for the strategic planning and implementation of sales processes and methodologies. I also worked on marketing key product releases and contracts to expand our footprint to international markets.

In this role, I worked with C level executives and IT at companies with revenues of $100mil to $1bil to determine how our tools and capabilities can help them improve their business processes. This requires me to manage a number of resources such as: Training managers, VAR partners, Global Alliance teams, and field and channel reps, pre-sales and competitive teams. I personally managed implementations on the full stack of Business Intelligence tools such as: Dashboards and analytics, Ad hoc, Enterprise Reporting, ETL tools, Data quality.

I co-founded an IT consulting firm in 2000 with the primary focus on a Health Canada Pilot Project. The purpose was to utilize technology to track the relation between lifestyles, diets, living conditions etc with osteoporosis. Provided the database design, ASP, website design, IT consulting/services for this project. Based on this study we were able to prove the value of a fall prevention program from the vision to implementation. Triplespin.net also engaged in numerous infrastructure and web design contracts.

At Canon Canada I sold commercial office equipment within Greater vancouver. This was an outside sales position. My responsibility included: developing and prospecting a geographical territory; delivering a quarterly quota; and account management with current customers. I was also a specialist for eCopy and document management software in the Western Region. eCopy certified
