Ecoliving is a specialist on-site renewable energy solutions provider. In 2004, when we started, on-site renewable energy in the UK was in its infancy. Ecoliving quickly became a respected technical renewables specialist with a broad base of installers and developer clients. We experienced the challenges of marketing new technologies in a young market and the increasing levels of political and regulatory involvement. We stuck steadfastly to the principle that we would work with the client to find the most appropriate solution for their project and the one that minimised energy running costs and maximised return on investment. This required us to have a broad range of technology solutions and know-how. Clients ranged from those with a single property to large industrial organisations with distributed property portfolios. We provided a consultative, single-source service from survey and feasibility to design, supply, installation and on-going maintenance of a broad range of renewable energy technologies including ground and air source heat pumps, biomass boilers, CHP, solar thermal and solar PV.My role included responsibility for strategy, marketing, business development and franchising.I exited the business following the sale to The Turner Group.
