● Created PermitZIP’s Mechanical Department, developing design standards, checklists, tools, and Revit procedures.● Grew and mentored the staff of Mechanical Designers from 1 to 6, including 3 at PermitZIP’s office in Kochi, India.● Contributed to the startup firm’s growth with business strategy, guiding principles, valuation methods, and internal procedures, thus helping to increase revenues by 290% and boost the profit margin from 6% to 20%, over 14 months.● Supervised HVAC design for 57 projects (537,000 sf) under PermitZIP’s 2-week timeline, per Virginia & ICC 2012 codes.● Worked with clients to help manage projects and carry mechanical construction administration through completion.● Supported many Electrical Department QA reviews, procedure developments, and project designs.

● Performed engineering calculations as part of the Building Sciences Studio, including daylighting and shading analyses, chiller plant optimization, microgrids, solar generation, and other energy or water-related analyses.● Modeled whole-building energy simulations in eQUEST for several new construction (a total of 600,000+ sf) and existing building (a total of 2,700,000+ sf) projects, often under ASHRAE 90.1, Appendix G’s methodology.● Worked on diverse govt. facilities (DOS, DOD, DHS, DOE, GSA)–e.g. data centers, embassies, agency headquarters.● Performed total quality assurance (TQA) reviews for projects of other energy engineers.● Aided mechanical engineers with hydronic layouts, duct layouts, duct pressure calculations, load calculations, submittal reviews, chiller performance data requisition and analysis, and modifying control sequences.● Surveyed sites for investment-grade (ASHRAE Level 3) energy audits using calibrated baselines and parametric ECMs. ● Submitted and resolved comments for EAp2, EAc1, and EAc2 on two LEED Gold and three LEED Silver buildings.● Operated as the LEED AP of Record and the LEED Admin for a successful design-bid-build project.(Until the acquisition in 2016, this firm was known as H&A or Hankins & Anderson)

● Trained the CAD department in 'AutoCAD MEP 2010', formed and assimilated new office standards.● Optimized and drafted HVAC, plumbing, piping, and electrical designs for commercial renovation projects.

● Trained and managed drafters and co-workers in 'Revit Architecture 2008' BIM drafting.● Drafted and architecturally designed resort hotels and other new commercial projects in the Eastern Idaho area.
