As an integral part of the operation, I collaborate in the manufacture and design of automation machines specializing in packaging for the medical, pharmaceutical and cosmetic industry such as Pfizer, Estee Lauder and Global Tissue. Initially hired as a machinist and gained the trust of management to implement new ideas to improve operational efficiency. • Implemented numerous procedures that improved efficiency, planning and scheduling.• Proposed the purchase of new tooling which proved to advance manufacturing productivity.• Created and facilitated methodization training for machinists and new hires improving process and productivity and improved employee retention. • Assisted in the designed and re-design of floor layouts each time the company grew; from 3500 sq. ft. and then 6,000 sq. ft. and most currently 35,000 sq. ft.
