I currently serve as an Ambassador for the Parkinson's Foundation Aware In Care program, and serve on the Advisory Board for the Southwest Chapter of the Parkinson's Foundation. This is voluntary work, but it has become my driving force and the inspiration that brings me energy and focus on a daily basis! My current and previous work experience as a communicator and a leader has certainly helped. But my biggest source of guidance on Patient Advocacy has been to learn from others who have been doing it incredibly well over the span of time.
