About Mark Mina

I employ a collaborative led approach in my business relationships with clients, where values such as respect, trust and transparency are shared, resources and skills are maximised, expectations and goals are clearly defined and where a passion for providing value to a clients’ business is a cornerstone for all activity.This ethos has enabled me to establish and grow a number of successful businesses in the direct marketing sector and I now lead one of the most progressive direct marketing and mailing businesses in Australia - Senses Direct. While the direct marketing landscape is barely recognisable from the industry I joined more than 30 years ago, technology has inspired a raft of changes and innovation in the sector, causing us to reinvent and redefine how we think and how we operate. It has also introduced new opportunities, such as electronic direct marketing and online campaigns, and increased the surface areas that clients have to engage with their customers.I am heavily focused on building a business that meets our clients’ evolving needs. This has involved the acquisition of a number of other businesses, recruitment of highly talented staff who are recognised leaders in the industry, and the purchase of state of the art equipment. We’ve worked on campaigns that involved every household in Australia (more than 9 million letters), couriered delicate and fragile sample products to every dentist across the country, sent prospectuses for some of the largest stock market floats in ASX history and run targeted campaigns for charities that have delivered significant benefits and return on investment.Some of the most effective advertising is being delivered through the mail. The rarity of receiving a letter is increasing the currency value of the medium and the tangible and enduring impact of a direct marketing campaign that includes most, if not all, of the five senses is delivering superior dividends for our clients.
