With 35 years of experience in bulk liquid transportation management, I have learned a lot about the industry and its changes throughout the years, running my family's businesses and some of my own. My passion for entrepreneurship began at a young age, following in my family's footsteps. In 1951, Gene Vannaman founded a business now named Munds Energy, Inc., operating as an independent oil jobber seeking to transport motor fuel. As the company grew, John Munds, Gene's son-in-law and my grandfather, joined the business in 1966 after a career as a high school math teacher and basketball coach and formed V&M Transport as a fleet operator.From John Munds' complete proprietorship in 1981, the Munds Energy brand is expected to launch in December 2021, continuing the customer service and expertise instilled over the last 70 years. Munds Energy is now owned and operated by my brother, Greg, and myself, using the life and business lessons learned from the men who came before us. My mission as a business owner is to continue serving my community in a tradition based on excellence!
