A geologist and geostatistician with over 10 years operation experience in WA goldfields exploration, open pit and underground mining in gold. Add another 15 years of mineral resources estimation in senior geological management (Anaconda Nickel, Rio Tinto Iron Ore) or consulting roles (Snowden, XMC, AMEC). Have worked on a wide variety of deposits worldwide including gold, PGEs, nickel (laterites and sulphides), bauxite, iron ore (supergene, CID and magnetite), mineral sands, porphyry copper-gold, and copper-lead-zinc (SEDEX, VMS and polymetallic veins). Developed and has run a number of training and facilitation courses on topics including mining grade control, sampling theory, and geostatistics.
