In addition Mark acquired extensive knowledge on the financial reporting language XBRL resulting in the development of the Legal Entity Framework taxonomy (see legalentityframework.com). Capital/Liquidity adequacyHis knowledge on Basel 2 and Basel 3 regulations has enabled him to support several banks to improve their capital adequacy framework and risk management processes (including ILAA and ICAAP). This included stress testing on liquidity and capital adequacy.ModelingMark gained a good technical understanding of model development as he developed and validated PD/LGD/EAD models for credit risk and developed several retail liquidity models. Impact assessmentAs a result of changes in regulations and business models, Mark performed impact analyses for M&A as well as Basel 2.5 and Basel 3 studies.
