Ensure accuracy of borrower's income and expenses by requesting and underwriting pay stubs, tax returns, bank statements, credit reports, and other various forms of financial documents. Determine the workout options available to the borrowers based on investor guidelines to include HAMP loan modifications, repayment plans, and forbearance agreements. Work directly with numerous private investors including but not limited to Bank of America, Wells Fargo, USDA, BB&T, Ocwen, WAMU, Bank of New York Mellon, Bank of the West, JPMorgan Chase, FHLB, E Trade, and Nationstar. Remedy the borrower's financial hardship by revising the terms of their loans in order to maximize the chance for homeownership retention. Provide concise written summary of the borrower's hardship and analysis of future ability to pay. Assist with internal and external third parties to diffuse escalated issues and display expertise in explaining the reasoning and justification when applying the investor guidelines.
