• I worked from varied IBM and Customer locations as well as Home office.• Lead a team of 12 security analysts responsible for managing multiple mainframe environments across Australia and New Zealand. On occasions, I also provided functional management when required for short periods. • Provided security guidance and direction to the bid and proposal teams working on major tenders, proposals and solutions. This included anything from billion-dollar outsourcing deals, complex transformation projects to datacentre moves and security specific deployments such as Security Governance and Compliance, Malware, Host/Network based Intrusion detection/prevention (HIPS/NIPS) and Security Information Event Management (SIEM). • Reviewed and evaluated solutions from a security delivery and delivery costs perspectives. - Provide security approval of solutions within delegation limit of $10 million. - Obtain Security executive approval of solutions above $10 million. • During transitions, participated in producing the Information Security Controls documents for each customer to record their existing security posture and used to agree the target security posture.• Created, documented and maintained the IBM Security Technical Delivery Assurance process. • Developed a number of Technical Delivery Assurance tools to streamline the process and provide a uniform methodology. • Performed security Due Diligence on new Customers, prior to contract signing, to verify the solution assumptions, baselines, risks and to uncover any existing non-standard environments and/or operating practices that may impact the solution or costings.• Appointed as the Global Security SME during the Due Diligence of a major global bank. This required traveling to the UK, India, Malaysia and Singapore.• Performed the Security SME role during Due Diligence reviews of multiple customers in Australia, New Zealand, Philippines, Singapore, India and Malaysia.

• Identity and Access Provisioning on ACF2 and Lotus Notes. • Develop and implemented security solutions on Mainframe and Lotus Notes, including ACF2 exits. • Security reviews during Application Development lifecycle. • Implemented remote access authentication solution to allow IT staff to provide after-hours support from home.

• Participated in the development of an in-house written security application that provided a common interface that allowed the other in-house applications to utilise ACF2 to manage and authorise user’s access at the application level.• Provided education to all developers and business unit owners in Australia and New Zealand.• Transferred Sydney to become a Security Administrator and to support the newly appointed IT Security Manager, whom had just started at Caltex.

• Setup the accounting practice within Western Australia for Caltex.
