With over 40 years of experience in the broadcasting industry, I am a seasoned and versatile television news producer and anchor at KVIA-TV, the ABC affiliate in El Paso, Texas. My specialties include broadcast marketing and promotion, audio and video production, voice over, and media buying and placement.At KVIA-TV, I was responsible for producing and anchoring the 4 p.m. hour-long weekday newscast, as well as assisting other show producers as needed. I used Trello to manage content from reporters and photographers, select stories for air, write and edit copy in AP style using Ross Inception software, and manage breaking news as required. I also designed and build graphics for stories, reviewed scripts for accuracy and legal compliance, and clipped video and wrote stories for the station website using Word Press.
