I joined Athlone Laboratories initially as a raw materials analyst before being promoted to senior QC analyst.Working in fast paced laboratory environment with strict time schedules to ensure finished product release.Introduction into testing of penicillin in both it's Raw material and finished product form. Types of penicillin include; Amoxicillin, Flucloxacillin Phenoxymethlypenicillin & Ampicillin.HPLC competent, Assay and Related substances, both finished product and raw material. Products tested under HPLC are Amoxicillin, Phenoxymethlypenicillin, Fucloxacillin and AmpicillinDevelopment of protocols for Validation studies.High levels of competency of certain laboratory techniques and procedures. These included; IR, Disintegration, Particle size, Bulk and tapped density, UV, Karl Fisher, conductivity, Density Meter, Centrifigation.Change controls for generation of revised GMP documents such as SOP's and raw material specs and QAR's.Trained and mentored new analysts. Calibrated and maintained laboratory equipment.Participation in troubleshooting investigations and problem solving to ensure compliance with cGMP, GLP, SOP's and product licenses.Solely responsible for the generation of secondary standard testing.
