- Responsible for developing Host Country (HC) logistics strategy and concept of operations, providing support to more than 1 million international visitors over 28-day tournament period- Oversee event operations – incorporating six separate work streams – across more than 350 sites while monitoring event KPIs- Maintain and manage Logistics Project budget equivalent to 45 million USD, achieving a budget savings of approximately 30% over the life of the project- Accountable for hiring and training the operations team consisting of 73 staff, 26 contract staff, and more than 1,000 supervisors, drivers, and crew- Main stakeholder liaison responsible for the collaboration of national stakeholders, including 15 government ministries and other government agencies, to ensure delivery of government guaranteed, simplified customs clearance procedures and tax and duty exemptions for qualifying client groups- Responsible for developing systems and processes for Inventory Management, Warehousing, Traffic & Distribution, and Logistics Customer Relationships Management- Accountable for the development of all policies, procedures, operational, and contingency planning- Responsible for procuring logistics service providers and manage vendor relationships to develop and monitor KPIs, business plans, asset tracking procedures, and asset management- Responsible for the procurement and management of contracts of all furniture, fixtures, and equipment (FF&E) and operating supplies and equipment (OS&E) – across 17 separate suppliers – to support all operational requirements- Lead project representative in main operations center, unifying 9 project coordination centers and 70 National Stakeholders
