In the past year and half I have worked on exciting project to release United Ready project. United Ready is a project that took United from using a single delay codes to a focus on process metrics and identifying delay causes based on the process data. In addition, the project focused on accurate customer messaging when delays occur. My team worked on redefining reporting and operational performance. Additionally, I have been involved in selecting the the new vision and path for flight planning replacement along with simplifying tools for dispatchers in United's NOC. It has been an exciting project, a culmination of vision (modernizing flight planning from the intense level of attention to exception management) and available technology.None of this work above could be done without a support of my team in the US and our India Knowledge Center. Growing my team in Delhi has been a rewarding experience to see our college recruits grow through the ranks and become experts in the aviation business. I have worked extensively in various areas of the Airline Industry with a proven track record of heading large team in the operations as well as leading smaller Planning /Analytics teams. I have considerable expertise in data mining and analytics, cross-divisional project execution, forecasting, general commercial airline operations, with a specialty in airline weight and balance and load planning processes. I have experience in designing airline operations forecasting models (i.e. scheduled block times forecast, contingency fuel forecast), in addition to managing financial forecasts, business case development, and project management. I am a Lean/Six Sigma certified professional focusing on efficiency and improved execution of operating processes in my current leadership role.
