Receiving, processing, analyzing and reporting data from field soil samples. Operate and maintain the laboratory facilities and analytical equipment pertinent to soil sample analysis. Oversee lab procedures and processes to maintain superior quality control and total quality manager.

Responsible for company administration and logistical coordination/ support to the laboratory and agronomy personnel. Working with the owner and facilitate corporate strategies for marketing and growth. Responsibilities include basic HR and accounting obligations, as well as web page design and maintenance.

GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIESThe General Manager (GM) has a dynamic multitude of roles including:o Maintaining the permeable flow of information (data and support) and communications o Leading the team in an adaptable, flexible, and responsive manner o Aligns business goals to company values and growth strategieso Communicates and enforces company policies and procedures for proper compliance o Develop financial projections, identify priorities and establish/track annual budgeto Supervise and be responsible for the financial affairs of WALo Ensure all staff work in compliance with all laws and regulationso Ensure supply needs are met o Delegate messages and information to the appropriate personnel o Ensure Standard Operating Procedures and Quality Assurance program have been met or exceededo Ensure that all analytical maintenance and performance standards have been met.o Be a liaison for WAPA ND with the local R&D Coordinator in order to facilitate meeting the needs and requirements related to research sample analysisFACILITY RESPONSIBILITIES:o Identify and communicate general maintenance needs of the facility o Investigate costs and options for owners to reviewMARKETING & PROMOTION RESPONSIBILITIES:o Identify and prioritize opportunities with the management teamo Assist in budget development, option investigationo Assist in the coordination and administration of the marketing plano Work with WAPA ND management team to ensure customer service expectations, both direct and indirect, are being metHUMAN RESOURCE RESPONSIBILITIES:o Work with the Manager of Professional Agronomy to develop on assessment, coaching, training of WAPA ND affiliated personnelo Ensure succession plans are in place and developmental plans are implementedo Recruit, supervise and co-ordinate permanent and part-time lab staff
