My research project aims to assess the modulatory effects of pharmacological interventions targeting core neuromodulators on neurocognitive processes involved in decision-making under uncertainty in trait anxiety, focusing on processes that relate to the estimation and processing of uncertainty.Based at the Department of Neuroimaging at the Institute of Psychiatry, Psychology & Neuroscience. Supervised by Prof Rosalyn Moran and Dr Toby Wise.

- Train AI models by crafting and answering questions.- Evaluate and ranking responses generated by AI systems.- Using domain expertise to assess the factuality and relevance of text produced by AI models.

Based at the Sensorimotor Learning and Computational Modelling Lab contributed to a project that utilised behavioural, neuroscientific and computational approaches to understand learning biases in musicians and the effects of pharmacological aids on musical performance.http://maria-herrojoruiz.net/lab/

Assisted in molecular diagnosis of microdeletion syndromes (Prader-Willie/Angelman) by detection of CNVs and methylation status via MLPA assay; molecular diagnosis of Gilbert syndrome by detection of UGT1A1*28 mutation via PCR.Training in molecular biology methods: isolation of DNA; gel electrophoresis; PCR, RT-PCR; Multiplex Ligation-dependent Probe Amplification (MLPA) assay.
