About Marko Hrastovec

I'm a type designer, educator and consultant who splits his time between designing retail and custom typefaces, providing systematic typography advice to clients and working in design education which includes teaching and giving workshops.I designed fonts for Louvre, Nike and L'Oreal among others. For my retail typefaces I was awarded Type Directors Club certificate of excellence twice, in 2016 and 2019. I'm a founder and designer at Hot Type - type foundry and design consultancy. Hot Type designs and produces retail and commissioned typefaces, offers consulting, research and education services in the field.
